I believe the ads run recently by the Republicans, including the one on the Bush website, are testing the means to work around this law. In 2004, the issues will be so clear that there will be no need to mention names.

Do you mean the one where they said "Some People" .. which made the Dems go ape over .. even though their names were never mentioned???

All future attack ads will be directed against "Some People". The 2004 election is a walkover. The only dividing issue will be which party is most trusted to provide national security. This could go either way, depending on events between now and then, but the CFR law will have no impact.
