Did the "Daisy" ad say "Goldwater"? I only saw it once, and I was only six at the time, so I don't remember. But you get the point Because it only ran once. There was an outcry after it was first aired.
And the daisy ad was not the sole reason Goldwater lost. Be real.

The point is that CFR would not prevent a POLITICAL ad like that from running today, as long as it does not mention a candidate's name.
And forbidding the mention of a candidate's name *is* a restriction on free speech. The most important kind.
