CMAC51 I totally agreee with you 1000% about the 60 day limit being crap. We'll have to see what happens. I apologize for my misplelling but this really jarred me.
My main problem with this bill is we will not be able to address what's going on in Congress prior to an election. This will give them the opportunity I'm afraid to do some very malicious and harmful things to us. This law IMHO was written with malicious and harmful intent towards christians and conservatives

For now its liberals who are gagged so there's some poetic justice in their getting this passed in the first place. That gives those of us on FR cold comfort since you never know when its gonna be OUR turn. We have the right to be equally silenced. All so the political class can have the license to operate in the dark. Sunshine in government? This law does anything but shine the light on the political cockroaches, mark my words.

This law IMHO was written with malicious and harmful intent towards christians and conservatives Why? They can run ads for their cause. They just can't say "vote Bush." They can advocate their core beliefs anytime.
Politicians and individuals can still run ads.
I don't know about the rest of you, but politically, this is a Republican gold mine.
Constitutionally, when talking about free speach for everyone, it sucks.
I do know Abortionists, earthworshippers, A.N.S.W.E.R., homos, welfare slugs, and Horrywood cronies will have to shut up before an election, too!
