The money "restrictions" have already been circumvented -- e.g. Soros.

What remains to be seen is how the "60 day ban on free speech" works and if IT can be circumvented. If this restricts political ads as its supporters stated, this is a gigantic blow to free speech.

I've been a George Bush fan on many issues, but he was a fool to sign this bill. He let us down big time. Our "Republican" Congress was also stupid to do this. And the Supreme "Court" -- they're insane or evil, I haven't decided which. (Can I still say these things?)

If all of us engage in massive civil disobedience, it may be enough to get Congress to stop trampling on our rights. We have to have the courage to say, "NO!"

Since the libs, typified by MoveOn, have a head start in this arena, the libs are hurt more than the pubs on the 60 day restriction.

On the other hand, excluding the press is a gigantic equality before the law discrepancy. Sure, they hold a special place in our Bill of Rights, but granting them rights and powers while exluding same from your average Joe is just plain unexplainable.
