What If Michael Didn't Do It?

I urge you to read this story from TheSmokingGun.com, which is a Court TV website. Quote: "December 9th - A confidential investigation by Los Angeles police and child welfare officials concluded earlier this year that allegations Michael Jackson sexually abused a cancer-stricken boy were 'unfounded,' according to an internal government memo obtained by The Smoking Gun. The probe's findings were based, in large part, on interviews with the alleged victim, his two siblings, and the boy's mother."

Folks, I've reminded all of you that everyone has a presumption of innocence - and not to fall for this media feeding frenzy against people they have it out for. All these so-called experts don't know diddlysquat about Michael Jackson, most of whom never even met him, don't take the place of a trial no matter how many times they appear on TV. That's why I keep asking the question, "What if everybody on TV is wrong, here?" The Los Angeles Police Department found that these allegations lacked creditability. Don't dismiss that possibility just because you find the story fun - or because you want people to keep tuning into your news channel.

Even if the current allegations were found to be false, the fact remains that only the most abysmally negligent parents would allow their young to come within a country mile of this freak.

I personally think that a 45-year-old man sleeping with pubescent boys - which he has admitted to - is already giving grounds for suspicion even if he hasn't Jackson's past, his appearance, and his behavioral idiosyncracies.

The problem is that anyone that determinedly weird nearly always welcomes the notoriety that goes along with it, and it's occasionally hard to remember that some if it, at least, is play-acting. And some of it isn't. Which this is I'll wait for the evidence to decide.

Maha Rushie has been around the block. He's a self-made millionaire with a high school education, i.e., the dude is streetwise.

My money's w/Rush on this one. For one thing, MJ has been on so many female hormones for decades to keep his voice high that I seriously doubt he's a pedophile. Just plain weird, yes, but IF he were a pedophile, there would be SCORES of little boys already coming forward to get a piece of the publicity pie.

And, Rush lives w/high society in Palm Beach - they get all the scoop, they have to in order to know whom to stay away from for security and lawsuit reasons.

I don't know, but it seems maybe Rush's being under investigation has made him overly empathatic to a fellow celebrity being accused of crime.

I really didn't get it when Rush started defending Jacko.

That's funny - on KFI this evening, the newsman broke into Jon & Ken's show with a news flash saying that the LAPD has/had no part in the memo and that LAPD states that "there are a number of lies in the memo". Hmmmmm.

Jacko has admitted to hosting sleep overs with children at his house, of both genders, and he has said that they sleep in his bed.

He has never stated that he sleeps in the bed with them, but rather that he sleeps on the floor, in a sleeping bag.

Take it for what it's worth, but that's what he's actually admitted to.

O.J. walked because people in the jury wanted desperately for him to be innocent...almost as desperately as some people want Jacko to be guilty.

Thanks for the correction, and you're right. I will admit, however, that it bothers me that given the trouble it's already caused him in terms of career and personal fortune, he keeps doing it. That argues either someone who genuinely, stubbornly believes it isn't wrong, or someone who can't stop. Or both. Not a healthy fellow, our Michael, IMHO, but it doesn't make him guilty.

Being a freak in society makes one an easy target. Being a freak does not mean you molest little boys. Jacko has more money than most people on Earth. That makes him an easy target.

Where do you get the information that MJ has been on "female hormones"? I've never heard this said anywhere before.
