Yep. The anti-"sniper rifle" crowd is waiting in the wings with an omnibus deer rifle ban as we write. The .50 Barrett is the poster child.

Couple years ago I nearly got a used .50 from a dealer,more for my family than me,and kind of wish I had now.I've never even shot one yet but my wife uses a .22 pistol in the yard for gophers and it's about time she moved up to a little more gun for "em. :)
