One other thing with the SKS is the heavy stock that can be trimmed down to lighten 'em....and if you slip with your hatchet....just toss that one aside and try another till you get what you want. :o)

I don't think this is flashy enough to be a conspiracy. I'm guessing one lone kook this time, for real. And just snap shooting at cars, not aiming at drivers. Maybe a kid.

I tend to agree with you but I also am thinking about some of the "dimbulb terrorists" we've seen.

The shoebomber,Moh and Malvo weren't the sharpist and I could imagine them involved in something like this.

Could easily be a young terrorist "sympathizer",too,but likely is some kid that's gotten ahold of a gun and is feeling "powerfull" for the first time in his miserable existance.

I think this shooter is a local boy, born and bred. A terrorist would not pick Ohio!

Terrorists and their "sympathizers" are like a bad cancer,you don't really know where it'll pop up next.

But I do tend to lean toward the idea of a local nut,also,at this time.

I agree.LE has a lot more to go on,I bet,than we're hearing about and the shooter isn't showing a whole lot of smarts if he really doesn't want to get caught.

I thought it was very interesting how they put the laser in the car aiming out the bullet hole, and had LEO's on the ground scouring where it pointed. I think they'll find something that way, and combined with a tip, they'll get this guy. Somebody already suspects who it is, this case could be closed any day, (I hope.)

Another foreign object found in an SKS: a very wiry black hair in an Albanian specimen...apparently armorers aren't required to wear hairnets.:)
