Col West's attorney was interviewed by O'Reilly tonight. The attorney said that the investigating officer would recommend that there not be a court martial but that he might be reprimanded. Likely half of his salary for two months and that he would not lose his pension. Details tomorrow likely. Excellent news.

Pardon me if I refuse to go all apeshit over this. Colonel West is a fine combat commander who put the welfare of his men
first. You'll notice that his guys are all solid, 100% behind him?
This guy should be groomed for Brigade command, not reprimanded.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

If West refused an Article 15, and the Army is not going to court martial him; they can't take any money away from him or take any other pecuniary measures. Due process of law considerations. West played chicken with the Army and won.
