I don't know all Grover's credentials and don't get why he has such pull. Can someone sh'splain it out for me?

I believe that Grover was instrumental in "behind-the-scenes" work to elect W. However, his support turned out to bite the administration in the butt later. On the other hand, Gaffney doesn't pull much weight on the inside either. Both appear to be doing much arm-waving to get attention. However, if one were to error on one side or the other, I would suggest that Frank has the interest of the country above his own interests. I'm not sure I can say the same of Grover.
