I am in northern Virginia and my whole building shook. I was on the phone with a friend who has a farm on the border of NC and VA and her home was shaking too!

Wow, that is quite some distance.

I hate it when these so-called comedians post their infantile comments, especially when I'm trying to ascertain what is happening. I have family in DC.

Thanks, bozos.

I'm near the Reston towncenter. Where are you? Still nothing here but I'm a large concrete building. Maybe I should step outside....

Were you in a building. It felt like waves going through and the floor was moving.

There was a real, real, real old BLOOM COUNTY cartoon ('80 or '81).... Milo's grandparents are sitting on the porch and their conversation goes something like this.

GRAMPA BLOOM: "It's happening again.... can you feel it? It's coming.... GET READY...."

(Everything rumbles and shakes with the force of a powerful earthquake.)

GRAMPA BLOOM: "YEP. The country just moved to the right again."

GRANDMA BLOOM: "WELL, THAT DOES IT.... I'M TYING DOWN ALL THE CHINA."

250 miles as the crow flies - she is about 10 miles off 85 in Clarksville! It was incredible! I thought the terrorists next door did something since they are so busy the past few nights! But when my friend started yelling over the phone I knew it was not them - yet!
