Resolutions have been introduced in both the House and Senate praising the Geneva Accord, a peace plan devised by former leftwing Israeli politician Yossi Beilin and Yasser Abed Rabbo, a longtime advisor to PLO terrorist leader Yasser Arafat. Click here to tell your elected officials to oppose these resolutions.
The Geneva Accord which former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak calls a delusion, is written as if the failures from the 1993 Oslo peace agreements never happened. Substantively, the Accord fails to resolve the issue of the so-called Palestinian right of return, re-divides Jerusalem, turns the Temple Mount over to the Palestinians, and avoids recognizing Israel as a Jewish state.
Disturbingly, the Geneva Accord was negotiated in defiance of Israels democratically elected government. Israeli leaders from both parties have overwhelmingly rejected the agreements, made by Beilin who is a private citizen. If American citizens made private international treaties in the name of the United States, they would be sent to jail under the Logan Act. Congress would not praise such private American citizens, nor should they recognize the Geneva Accord, negotiated by a private Israeli citizen. For these reasons, it is imperative that your Congressmember and Senators are made aware that constituents like you are strongly opposed to any resolution commending the Geneva Accord. Please assist us in letting Washington know that Israels security should be left up to the democratic government of Israel. All other efforts should not be legitimized.
As your constituent, I am deeply opposed to the resolution supporting the Geneva Accord initiative signed by private Israeli and Palestinian citizens on December 1.
H.Res 462 acknowledges the efforts of individuals acting in opposition to the democratically elected government of Americas staunch ally, Israel. If ex-American politicians negotiated a model treaty with a foreign entity such as North Korea or Iran, they could face imprisonment under the Logan Act. Knowing this, why should the efforts of ex-Israeli politicians acting against their democratically elected government be lauded by the U.S. Congress?
Additionally, the resolution mistakenly acknowledges that the Geneva Accord guarantees recognition of a Jewish state. As former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak stated, not even this simplest demand is met. The private initiative sounds hauntingly familiar to the Oslo Agreement of 1993, as Palestinians again pledge to renounce terrorism and end anti-Israel incitement, in return for massive Israeli concessions jeopardizing their security in hopes of attaining peace. Israels concessions a decade ago led not to peace, but to the deaths of over a thousand Israeli citizens at the hands of Palestinian terrorists. Until Palestinians physically dismantle and disarm terrorist organizations such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad, these private initiatives are mere delusions.
It is not the place of the United States Congress to officially approve the flawed private initiatives of ex-Israeli and Palestinian politicians. As a constituent concerned with the security of the state of Israel, I urge you to oppose H.Res 462.

Righteousness isn't determined by a 'winning' number of cards and letters. If these bozos don't get it now (and the light should have gone on eons ago), they NEVER will. Geneva supporters aren't interested in facts, logic, or the right thing to do. Oslo is their false peace idol. Let them worship Oslo, which is his [Mohammed's] toilet seat, and look for a way out of the States before judgment falls.
I don't plan on looking for a way out.
I plan on staying and giving whomever is in charge at that time fits.
