What I mean is, democrats show no less an aptitude for running businesses as republicans. The fifty-fifty split between red and blue isn't just at the voting booth, although it sure doesn't apply to academe. ;)

Once they become business owners, they are no longer liberals and in many cases, no longer democrats. It's a self fulfilling prophecy.
