What kinda scared me yesterday on Larry King was when Bush came out to surprise Larry and then he said he has 11 whole months till the election and he really wasn't concerned. Bush has got to start getting out there and start campaigning soon if he wants to beat Dean. Dean is all over the place and with the help of Move on and other Communist organizations they are working double time to win over independent voters.

What do you think that trip to Iraq was? Oh, it definitely was a sound, morale-boosting visit by an honorable Commander-in-Chief as well, but there's nothing that says doing the right thing can't help the campaign, too. From the tax cuts he pushed at the start of his presidency through the judicial appointment that force Democrat hypocrisy to show to the prescription drug benefit, he's been doing things to get re-elected since the moment he took office.
And that's a good thing, because he believes that using the power of the Presidency to do what he thinks is right is the best way to get re-elected. I wish he'd control spending better, and I really wish he'd make more of an issue of the stalled judicial appointments, but don't think he's not campaigning.

Bush has got to start getting out there and start campaigning soon if he wants to beat Dean. The man has raised approx. $100 million!! His campaign is investing a ton of time and money into grass roots organizations. He's been busy for months. He just can't, as President, say "Yeah, I'm focusing on re-election eleven months from now."
