In case you don't know much about her, she is a 51 year old RN, who is out of work with no insurance, who went in the hospital a little over a month ago for a spinal abcess. What should have been surgically repaired, was treated by meds because of her lack of insurance.
The result was FURTHER LIFE THREATENING AND PERHAPS FATAL INJURY to her liver. Right now, her sister and another RN, are trying to RESCUE her from the hospital she is in, and take her to SHANDS in Florida. WE PRAY THIS IS GOING TO WORK!!!!
She caught Hep/C from a patient years ago. Now after years of caring for others, she finds herself with no insurance, and because of that, not getting the kind of care she SHOULD have gotten.
