I was working in DC during that time period on a number of conservative projects; in conjunction with the Keyes organization. EVERYONE there dropped EVERYTHING else to concentrate ALL efforts towards helping Terri.

I can attest that everything in this piece is accurate, and I resent your representation of any of these fine individuals as anything but honorable in all of this.

You are also grossly mistaken if you think Dr. Keyes' operations are anything but pure grassroots. They are consistently doing more to help the conservative movement than anybody else I know: and always with minimal funds.

The Left in general, and the left wing of the GOP, would like nothing more than for Keyes and those like him to shut up and go away.

My friend, I have past reasons on FR to respect you, but frankly you have bought lies in this case.

If there is anything wrong or dishonorable about conservative organizations or leaders asking those who share our conservative agenda and beliefs for the funds to continue such work; and if whiners in our ranks are going to make that somehow 'dirty', then we all might as well hang it up right now; there is no hope; the Left has won. Do you have similiar criticism of Jim for asking for the funds to continue FR? How about the GOP? All the other myriad organizations out there? Your church?

Come on. Grow up.

In closing, let me say that there were key victories won behind the scenes in this particular instance that would not have been won if it were not for Alan Keyes, Mary Parker Lewis, and to a lesser extent Randall Terry.

NO! But that's not the issue here, as I understand it. YES, Alan Keyes and Randall Terry have helped Terri's fight (as have so many others through all these years!), that is not at issue.

But the fact is, and our CONCERN is, that Terri is STILL in danger. She is still literally under assault. She is not, has NEVER been, out of danger, and will not as long as her HINO Michael is her guardian.

Another concern is that people will send their $$ for Terri to Randall Terry instead of to Terrisfight.org (which NEEDS the $$ for directly funding Terri’s ongoing daily battles). Isn’t that the purpose of this email?

So I appreciate Robert Drobot’s post. In light of his concern -- whether in the end it is founded or not -- he had an obligation to put it out for discussion. As indeed I feel the obligation to post this reply. I respect and appreciate RD for ‘putting himself on the line’, esp. now, at personal cost while he is ill. If there is error in his interpretation, then you as an insider can gently correct that! Eh voila, FR serves its purpose once again.

It’s the end of a long day and I'm trying to be so careful how I word this. I don’t want to offend any one by this (harmless little fuzzball me, lol!). Sure wish I could be as eloquent as AnnaZ, as concise as AppyPappy, as kind as Alamo girl!

Your statements are 100% accurate regarding Terri. What matters more than all the self appointed "information minsters" here put together, who have NOT been to Pinellas County and ARE NOT not in the Beltway either, is that Terri is very much alive and we are looking forward to her independence day.

Many thanks to the Keyes organization who were involved day to day and continue to receive updates from Tampa Bay. (we had a great protest yesterday and today at the Courthouse Complex where State Atty Bernie McCabe claims to work. GRAND JURY NOW, Bernie.)
