I too wondered if he was into S and M. Mainly because to inclict multiple stabs to him would be hard unless he was bound up ... I'm starting to wonder about that, too. I haven't seen anything (yet) about the autopsy indicating that he was bound, but I'm betting that he was (because of earlier reports that none of the wounds appeared to be self-defense type of wounds.) Another tidbit that I gleaned from today's USA Today was a report that he bought "two" drinks (one soda, one water) when he stopped for gas in King of Prussia. Could indicate that he wasn't alone, but not necessarily. Could have bought the soda for now & water for later.

Now even his boss didn't like him. Well, Luna did get the job from DiBiagio's predecessor, Lynn Battaglia (sp?), who was a Clinton appointee as U.S. Attorney for Maryland (meaning she must have been approved by Hillary).

Early reports were that there were wounds consistent with self-defense.

I thought I'd heard that there weren't self-defense wounds but I didn't pay much attn. to the case the first 2-3 days. So I went back & read some reports & those reports are all over the place. One said it was a "furious fight" & another said "no signs of struggle". Another said it appeared there were at least two attackers & that one had held him. Supposedly signs of torture on the torso and knife wounds to the neck & torso. Can't find anything being written about wounds to the hands or arms (those wouldn't be interpreted as serious anyway--but would indicate self-defensive types of wounds.)
Inconsistency seems to be the hallmark of journalism, but one would think they could be more accurate given all the tools they have for communication.

"It certainly wouldn't be hard to get a credit card in someone's name if you knew their SSAN."You're right and that could well have happened. We don't know. I posted that article snippet because it has been suggested here that Luna was homosexual. The excerpt says Luna frequented an online newsgroup offering female sex partners.
