The risk of death is preferable to the risk of mental problems.
You have no idea of the damage autism causes or you would accept that some fates are worse than death and would absolutely accept that as parents, we should have the right to decide these issues for our own children.

Amen.
I have an autistic child and the effects of it have been widespread. In the 2 years we have suspected this, I have developed high blood pressure and we have had marital problems. It is a very stressful situation for the whole family and I am so sick of the comments of those who know nothing about the devastating affects of this.
