Again, I fail to see how those White House meetings or any of Norquist's outreach efforts had anything to do with those arrests at Guantanamo Bay.

My fault.

Alamoudi is a 5th Columnist who inflitrated the military chaplain program.

Saffuri, with his pro-terror links used to work for Alamoudi, but now works with Norquist. Throug Norquist, he has gained access to the highest levels of power in Washington.

Is Khaled Saffuri a 5th Columnist? Very posibly, given his resume and inclinations.

Is Grover Norquist a patsy, or an enabler? Very possibly, given his pattern of associations with known Islamists and terror symps, and their patterns of behavior.

It boils down to this: I'd like to know the truth, though I think I already know what it is.

Nothing at all, except for stretches of the imgaination that I have not seen since Hillary complained about a "vast right-wing conspiracy" or when Gary Sick claimed George H. W. Bush flew an SR-71 to Paris to meet with Iranian officials.

Gary Sick is one source. Frank Gaffney has cited dozens of sources.

You need better analogies.

What evidence is there that Grover Norquist knew about those ties or the attempt to infiltrate the chaplain corps?

I will also add that neither David Frum, Cal Thomas, or Mona Charen accused Norquist of any improprieties. Michelle Malkin and Frank Gaffney did - yet Mrs. Malkin seems to have ignored other conservatives (again reference former Congressmen Barr and Armey) who have also expressed civil liberties concerns. All she had was opposition to the Patriot Act. I supported that Act, but can recognize that some concern about civil liberties is warranted, and certainly to not object to people like Norquist, Barr, and Armey contributing to the debate on that issue. Obviously others do.

The only person accusing Norquist of anything close to impropriety is Frank Gaffney. The comparison to Gary Sick's charges, and the logic of Tom Foley stands. I also wonder why it is that debate over the Patriot Act, Islam, and immigration worries some people.
