Shhhhhhhhhhhh, Joe, don't tell anyone else. They're feeling pretty cold right now and some might have a few jitters from the quake they had today. The last thing California needs is more folks moving out here.

Never fear,

I warned um on another post, Here's what I wrote.

Just wait until tomorrow.

You may experience a strange phenomena. Sometime an earthquake can have a delayed recoil effect, within 24 hours later, epic massive earthquake swarms can occur, causing liquefaction to a wide region.

This causes the ground to turn to an "oatmeal" like substance and homes can sink and tall building just "bob" around in it, like a buoy in a lake, sometimes sinking completely.

If the swarms are strong enough, it can change the course of rivers and cause ground water in wells to shoot straight out of the ground, at the same time rivers can flood over their banks. This effect will generally burst all water pipes within hundreds of miles.

I'm not saying this will happen, but you never know.

I watched my neighbors home get completely swallowed up by the liquefaction. It was as if it was swallowed by oatmeal.

What was weird, 20 minutes later it came back up to the surface.

I figured that would hold um off.
