Can someone tell me why the liberals get so upset when someone says they aren't going to take public financing? Seems to me that leaves more money for their pet projects.

Dean gives a hell of a speech she says.
Every time I see him speak he stumbles over words, misplaces phrases, gets his cadence wrong, trails off at the end of sentences, throws in irrelevant points, switches subjects at a 90 degree angle and makes reference to things like the Soviet Union.
These Dems are truly deranged. It is BDS (Bush Derangment Syndrome) fully matastizied.

Dean gives a hell of a speech -- even if you're Republican
Let's correct her...howard the hothead gives a hell of a speech, especially if you are a Republican. Listening to that lunatic rant and rave about how he wants to regulate everything, raise taxes and attack the "Soviet Union" makes me wish it was Nov. 2004 so I can laugh as my/our President kicks this guys ass in the election!
To: Utah Girl
Ivins must be insane if she thinks Dean handled himself well in that interview with Chris Matthews. He mentioned the Soviet Union for crying out loud! More than once!

make our political choices based on purity of heart, nobility of character, depth of compassion, sterling integrity and generosity of spirit. She's voting for Bush?
How can she vote for Bush, but whore for Dean?

He'll only win the demonrat primary, Molly!

Dean gives a hell of a speech -- even if you're Republican Dean sounds like a pack of dogs tearing apart some meat.
When he's not snarling like a wolf he sounds like John McCain's evil twin.

To: Utah Girl
LOL! What will be fun is watching him lose his temper in an interview or make another confederate type remark in a debate. They got a weiner allright.......

Anger makes liberals uncomfortable: We prefer peace, reason and gentle persuasion.Huh??!!
To: Utah Girl
Dean is for homosexual marraige. This needs to be pointed out in every interview. It's a hot spot in America right now.
He's also for $$$$$$$ Universal health care, and it'll be the voters who'll be forced to pay for it. Also a hot spot!

So far, that is the biggest whopper of this young century.

They want control of the political process itself, I guess. I think that when Nixon was president they started that Presidential Fund checkbox on the tax form. My sixties brother told me to always check it until about 5 years later when he told me to quit checking. I never check that box.

I know, he's even less of a liberal than Bill Clinton was, but I don't think Dean is a moderate centrist. I think he's a fighting centrist. And folks, I think we have got ourselves a winner here. Wha? I'm trying to see things from her point of view, but this is too much. I'm not that flexible, and my head wouldn't fit up there anyways.

When Dubya gets re-elected, I'll take more pleasure from the agony of folks like Ivins and Dowd than I will from the actual re-election. I'm pretty certain about this.

"Tim Russert, who was hell-bent on gotcha questions"
I didn't see it, but from Ivins' reaction it sounds like Russert didn't lob Dean a bunch of softballs as Ivins expects the media to do for Dems. "Gotcha" questions should only be directed at Republicans.
