Bull, most people at the FR agree the cops have too much power and need their wings clipped..... we all have been screwed by cops at some point. In America you can't even walk down the street with an open beer with out going to jail.

Well then you must be clean as a whistle or old as the hills... it is dangerous to your career to have any confrontation with the police... they can steal everything from you with a warrant, your future, your career, your hope.... I watch my step every step.... I even donate to the police after school program to get a police sticker on my car so I don't get tickets if I'm pulled over for... not wearing my seat belts.... talking on a cell phone.... eating a hamburger.... or reaching for a cassette.... oh, but I'm over exaggerating.

Porterville's comment on police, and, especially narcs, can be measured for truth this way: I have been to Freeps. I have met other Freepers on several occations. I have NEVER met any of the Drug War enthusiasts at Freeps.

The reason is they fear that people will tag them as narc sympathizers and jam them up. Your "speak for yourself" line would be more credible if you did get out on a picket line or protest someday and speak. Or do you cower in fear of citizens who might think narcs are an unwelcome plague?
