Fineman: [Clintons] . . . want to make as much a hash of this as possible . . .

You quoted Howard Fineman from 1992 describing Clinton:
"There's no doubting that the nation is about to be led by its first sensitive male chief executive. He's the first President to have attended both Lamaze classes and family therapy (as part of his brother's drug rehabilitation.) He can speak in the rhythms and rhetoric of pop psychology and self-actualization. He can search for the inner self while seeking connectedness with the greater whole."

Then you said:

And how, exactly, was this a good thing, Howard?

What did it have to do with, say, Osama bin Laden?

The answer to your second question is: Clinton helped Osama find his inner terrorist and remove nagging doubts that kept him from realizing his dreams of murdering thousands of innocents.

He called him a genius at one point, and wished he possessed his keen pol mind.

Ow! Did you have to inflict her girlish laughter on me like that?
I'm sure that's what so indeared her to her future cuckold.
I'm sure he's heard that tone before!

As they say, "Her tongue would take the hide off'n a mule."
She must never be allowed to hold office again.

The same people who decry the use of the Patriot Act against
muslims, would gladly see her use it against Christians/conservatives. She would, you know she would.

If Dean gets the nomination, he gets the DNC.
Even if he loses, it makes him the front-runner for 2008 - not Hillary.

On an earlier thread was a discussion of how to "handle" Hillary without getting the "vast right wing" response. It occurred to me that there are those of her own liberal leanings who have come out against her. One in particular was the man who worked with her on the health care task force. He has been quoted as saying among other things, she should never be allowed anywhere near higher office (or something to that effect).

I would love to see her hit with his quotes in a national forum.

Howard Fineman, the man who is never right! What a loser! The only two people that are dumber than Howard Fineman are Chris Matthews and his "not to bright" wife. MSNBC should be ashamed!

Too bad about that massive, fatal heart attack Dean is going to have in April, May or June. Really too bad.

You were right. She barely looked at him! Just a glance here and there! It was mesmerizing once you pointed it out!

"Maybe Fineman and others have grown from their errors in judgment too."

Don't be on it.

Liberals are never wrong, you know. It's one of their articles of faith.

"Now is that likely to happen? No"

. . .her running at all, is sickening, but this scenario could well unfold IF Hillary believes she can win. Otherwise, she will 'honor' her comittment and wait till 08.

We know just from Hillary's trip to the troops; that she was the 'political turkey'; and yet. . .the media chose to make the political turkey the one on the tray that GW picked up.

This is the scary part of a Hillary candidacy. She cannot do it without them; and there are no signs in sight; that she will have to.

I really think that if she has to do that kind of format, she will get slaughtered if she runs against President Bush. Most people will react as if she is lying (which, of course, she is, but the people I'm talking about don't know she's a liar today.)

As I said yesterday, I think that if she tries to work on that flaw, she will come off looking like Dr. Zombiemaker.

This is NOT a small, shallow point. Rove, et al, should be plotting ways to force her into this format . . . if she gets herself drafted for 2004.

I stand behind my contention that Hillary's recent visibility is related not to a presidential run but to three names:

Paul, Tonkin and Pallidino(sp)

Consistent with prior scandal strategy, she makes many public pronouncements then claims people are only coming after her because she is a "strong woman".

Furthermore, I think Hillary would rather sit back and say she could have been a contender if not for the VRWC, rather than actually have to face the possibility of defeat.

LOL!!! "Out of the goodness of her heart."

Oh, please leftists, stop the beefy butt kissin'. What heart? Mrs. Clinton's heart is colder than the Grinch's, Simon Legree's and Ebeneezer Scrooge's could have ever been.
