It'll be OK. We have FR to help us connect and maintain our sanity and our perspective.
Yeah, it'll be ugly. Actually it's the Dimocraps who'll make it ugly, on purpose of course. They don't give a fig about ripping the country apart. But we have an outstanding President and the truth on our side. We are stronger. I believe we will prevail.

yeah---this is what the POSITIVE side of me says, and the negative side says that they will come up with something totally off the wall---(like the Florida recount) I'm starting to hate elections.
Elections would be great if the liberals would just go away! VBG

\Laura doesn't need anything like that...she is happy and beautiful and it shows. Now for hilleree...well, that's another story. Perhaps you meant to say her name instead of our beautiful First Lady. Go away and don't let the door hit you on the way out.

She's definitely not the type to waste her time or money on a facelift. Her beauty is beauty from within, the beauty that comes from peace at knowing she is doing her best, is working to improve the world. The beauty of God's love is shining through her.

Thank you so much for a live thread for the cable-deprived (if that is the right word). I may not have cable, but I do have a lovely Christmas card and calendar! Now why didn't I think to save the envelope?

Mrs. Bush has not had a face lift nor botox. She looks the same as she always has. I didn't say she wasn't beautiful tonite..I just asked a question because I also look at her pix, but of course, you can see from this thread from the time I asked a question, that the bigmouths became very NASTY..Maybe they should look at some of the photos that I've looked at tonite. I'm glad to know that the rest of this gang knows what goes on behind closed doors! http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/02/03/politics/main539048.shtml http://www.texasbookfestival.org/ http://www.smu.edu/newsinfo/releases/99018.html http://www.whitehouse.gov/firstlady/flbio.html http://www.defenselink.mil/photos/Oct2001/011011-D-2987S-152.jpg http://www.defenselink.mil/photos/Oct2001/011011-D-9880W-223.jpg http://www2.worldbook.com/features/features.asp?feature=presidents&page=html/bush_laura.htm&direct=yes http://library.thinkquest.org/TQ0312172/flgwbush.html http://www.cjonline.com/photos/galleries/011002_laurabush/ http://www.tamu.edu/univrel/aggiedaily/news/stories/02/042502-9.html http://www.thelibrarylady.net/TLL%20Visits/Laura%20Bush%20Photo.jpg http://www.whitehouse.gov/firstlady/asia/01.html http://abcnews.go.com/sections/wnt/PersonofWeek/pow031002_laurabush.html http://www2.worldbook.com/features/features.asp?feature=presidents&page=html/bush_laura.htm&direct=yes http://www.cnn.com/2002/US/09/08/laura.bush.911/ http://www.whitehouse.gov/infocus/europe-200211/firstladyeuropetrip/06.html http://www.beatricegormley.com/work1.htm http://www.usasurvival.org/laurabush.shtml http://www.msnbc.com/news/975902.asp http://www.msnbc.com/news/1164903.jpg http://www.rferl.org/specials/lbush/ http://www.tiscali.co.uk/news/galleries/qm_funeral/large/6.html http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/white_house/jan-june01/laurabush.html http://www.onlineathens.com/images/110202/ga_firstlady.jpg http://edworkforce.house.gov/issues/107th/education/nclb/flotus31402.htm http://www.utexas.edu/opa/oncampus/99oc_issues/oc990427/oc_bush2.html http://www.elpasoinc.com/Archive/00_08_06/week.html http://www.utexas.edu/opa/news/98newsreleases/nr_199811/festival2.html http://www-hoover.stanford.edu/pubaffairs/newsletter/01spring/koret.html http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images/view?back=http%3a//images.search.yahoo.com/search/images%3fp=Laura%2bbush%26ei=UTF-8%26cop=mss%26tab=3%26b=121&h=186&w=140&imgurl=www.beatricegormley.com/images/bgormley-140-Laurabush.jpg&name=bgormley-140-Laurabush.jpg&p=Laura+bush&rurl=http://www.beatricegormley.com/&no=128&tt=1,770 http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images/view?back=http%3a//images.search.yahoo.com/search/images%3fp=Laura%2bbush%26ei=UTF-8%26cop=mss%26tab=3%26b=201&h=450&w=351&imgurl=www.lucianne.com/routine/images/10-13-02.jpg&name=10-13-02.jpg&p=Laura+bush&rurl=http://www.lucianne.com/routine/archives/10-13-02.htm&no=213&tt=1,770

What the heck are you talking about? Botox? Not in the media? Go away!
I love Laura Bush. She is the perfect First Lady, and I won't let her be trashed by anybody--especially on FreeRepublic!
To: Bella
Hi Bella,
I understand what you are saying, but I also agree with the others that cosmetic surgery probably isn't her thing.
She has looked especially beautiful lately and I think that it is because she has lost so much weight. Don't you think?

MANY things aren't in the MEDIA as if you don't know. It's too bad that I stated what might be, and there's none of you that can say it's not true for certain. It's just that I didn't say what you and others wanted me to say and that I didn't go on a "lovefest" as you all did initially, so you go away!

She has looked especially beautiful lately and I think that it is because she has lost so much weight. Don't you think? Yes she's lost weight, but she wasn't really heavy to begin with. She's got a hectic schedule and has been traveling to many nations since she came to the WH, and it appears that everyone in the WH loses weight due to the strict dietary management to keep whoever's in the WH healthy and in tiptop shape which they ALL should be. As far as cosmetic surgery, there are MANY women who wouldn't tell that to anyone along w/ their age. They're in the public eye and I'm not the only one who thinks this, however, due to the nature of the insaneness of many on this forum who trash anyone who dares differ in opinion of anyone and anything if they don't go along, other freepers don't post what they think. I've received several emails from freepers who also agreed with me.

I'm not going anywhere!
Laura Bush is a wonderful woman, and I will not stand by and let her be insulted by fools.
To: texasflower
How do you know cosmetic surgery isn't her thing? And what's wrong with someone wanting to remove a few bags and sags. It's healthy for women's image, especially those who are in public a lot.
It's also good for men who have big bags under their eyes. It's very distracting to look at people with large bags under their eyes. I strongly recommend a little nip and tuck ...just to be appealing.
OK.... so you don't like my thinking??? he he

Nothing at all wrong with it, Gracey. I simply said that it probably wasn't her thing and I wondered if it could be just a result of her weight loss.
