Wow, another National Review illegal alien article. That is amazing.

I hope your grandson is ok. Same thing happened to my daughter's father-in-law in Vegas last week. He was hit by a car! Didn't arrive to ER by ambulance and sat for SIX hours and still not taken care of! So he went to the Nevada University and was treated immediately! He said the room was full of foreigners.

My grandson Kyle is feeling better (Tylenol and TLC), thanks. Hope the dad-in-law is OK too!
We were in Las Vegas a month ago, and noticed the huge numbers of barely-English speaking foreigners working there, and also many hanging around on street corners. A friend of mine in Ohio says that Cincinnatti is full of illegals, another friend in Atlanta says the same thing, and just think, they're all getting free medical care. Good deal for them, rotten deal for American taxpayers.

I hope your grandson is O.K.
The ERs close to the border stay packed with illegals getting non-emergency care because it is free for them. We are becoming 3rd world with each passing day.

"He said the room was full of foreigners." I was on another thread and they were talking about so many foreign nurses. Someone made the statement that patients need to learn how to call for a bedpan in 4 or 5 different languages now. LOL

Thanks, I hope he'll be OK. I just talked to my son, and they had to take the little guy back to the hospital (a different one tonight, hoping they won't have to wait for hours). His temperature is 103.8, and they're worried because it won't stay down. God, I hope he doesn't have that terrible flu.
To: janetgreen
Hopefully, they will not have to wait long. ER nurses are supposed to triage the patients with the sicker patients being first. The hospital administration needs to be notified immediately if the ER is not triaging patients.
Hopefully, his temperature will go down and he will be o.k.

If we are not enforcing current immigration laws, the question naturally arises: Why would we be any more likely to enforce new laws? Without a clear, firm intent to enforce existing laws, what would discourage more illegal immigrants from entering the country in hopes of yet another "guest worker" or amnesty bill in the future? Will we be sending the signal to others that, if they can get into the United States and lay low for a few years, they too could gain legal status (even citizenship) in the United States? These are the sorts of questions and concerns policymakers must be prepared to address at the beginning of debate on new immigration proposals.
Uh huh... Voted in committee to rewarding illegal aliens with in-state tuition and amnesty in 2003Sen. Kyl voted as part of the Judiciary Committee in favor of S. 1545, the so-called DREAM Act. S. 1545 would would grant in-state tuition and amnesty to illegal aliens under the age of 21 who have been physically present in the country for five years and are in 7th grade or above. Such a reward for illegal immigration serves as an incentive for more illegal immigration. S. 1545 passed the Judiciary Committee by a vote of 16-3. FAIR US.org
