If Hillary endorses Dean before Iowa, I'll be convinced that he really was their guy all along. Remember, his big issue was originally going to be health care, with a plan which was very much similar to Hillarycare.Yes, and then Stuff Happened, like 9/11, Afghanistan and Iraq. If Dean had ended up running on a HillaryCare II platform, he'd probably be one of the dorks making up the rear of the pack like Edwards and Kucinich. Instead he got lucky, and was able to reinvent himself as the candidate for the pro-Saddam, venomous Bush-hate wing of the Democratic Party ... who are the only ones worked up enough at the moment to even be paying attention. I find it hard to believe Dean would ever have made it this far if it weren't for the Iraq war.

Al Gore has been tapping into that hatred energy for over a year, starting with that first MoveOn.org speech of his. This endorsement should come as no surprise to anyone who's ever been paying attention to Gore's machinations and views for over a year, even the media.
