Lieberman spokesman Jano Cabrera said Gore did not tell the Connecticut senator about the endorsement.

Brit just said that Carl Cameron just confirmed that Lieberman found out through the media.

If those who think this is orchestrated are correct (and I am seriously considering that possibility), this could have been designed to keep up the picture of inner party squabbling and bad blood.

Otherwise Gore really is the rude boob we've come to know and loathe. (And to think I kind of liked the guy back in the eighties.)

Yeah, whatever is going on behind the scenes, it doesn't give off the vibes of unorchestrated backstabbery. There would be far more of the element of chaos in the air instead of the feeling of loose ends being tied up. That said, I still think there is a battle over DNC control. They are just being smart about the way they wage it.
