"For the first time, we're giving seniors peace of mind that they will not have to face unlimited expenses for their medicine," How soothing to hear. Where is the necessary "Barf Alert."

I am just curious how did Bush kill the Kyoto global warming treaty. Wasn't it already rejected by the Senate
98-0. I hope Bush knows that the Senate needs to ratify any treaty. BTW, instead of using words like "talked" and "initiated" why don't you use real words, like signed and delivered CFR, Sarbanes-Oxley, the farm bill, Leave Your Child Behind, etc.

"I am just curious how did Bush kill the Kyoto global warming treaty. Wasn't it already rejected by the Senate 98-0. I hope Bush knows that the Senate needs to ratify any treaty."Are you really, truly "just curious" or is it that you really, truly don't want to ever give credit to President Bush where it is due?
For if you are really, truly "just curious", the answer to your question is that President Clinton signed some great number of Executive Orders which compelled federal agencies to behave *as if* the Kyoto Global Warming treaty had been ratified.
Clinton signed these XO's such that each one had the effect of enacting some small part of Kyoto, with the cumulative effect being that Kyoto was very much in play in the U.S. up until President Bush began repealing those XO's with new Orders of his own.
Of course, this answer is only going to satisfy you if you were honestly being "just curious" above. No doubt you'll find some way to ignore or dismiss the truth if it turns out that you weren't being honest about your alleged curiosity above.

Nah, I don't have an issue with the Kyoto Treaty - we're in agreement there. I do have an issue with some of the "soft" verbs: improved, talked, initiated, etc...they aren't all that meaningful to me.
And obviously, I don't think there's a person on this site that won't stipulate to the fact that Bush has done some outstanding work (particularly in regard to foreign policy). All that does nothing to diminish the trainwreck that is this bill.

"

Now that's done alot of good, hasn't it.
