LaFace Records, the record producer hmm...I've just changed my mind. This is French-sounding, or close enough. Sue the pants off them!

LaFace Records, the record producerLaFace Records I believe is black. The owner would be Babyface if I am correct.

I love being a middle-aged white guy who can instruct a black woman such as yourself on the more subtle points of rap speech. :o)I have had my own kind to tell me that I am a white woman locked in a black womans body more than once. I just give them the Look.

But she wont sue Ice Cube and Cedric 'The Entertainer' for saying she was just a secretary for NAACP who wouldnt move? That scene in "Barbershop" was hillarious. That was the first thing that came to my mind even before I saw your post. LOL :)

Outkast is one of the few hip hop acts that demonstrates real TALENT, as opposed to thuggish rhyming over stolen beats.
For those who've heard Andre's progression from "Get Up, Get Out"(a positive song) to "Hey Ya" I'd definitely have to say there's talent there. I don't know how much they had to do with production, but I assume they had some input and their songs have always sounded unique and distinct from the main body of hip hop.
Of course, our resident hip hop haters will look at the lyrics to the silly "Rosa Parks," which was never intended to mean anything of significance, and say "ugh, this is garbage." I guess we should get more songs about LSD use like the 60s/70s--then it'll be real music.
