It's not that bad. One fellow I know has a lake in the middle of his allotment. Berries, ducks, fish in summer and sometimes caribou. And an airstrip so he can call in fresh provisions in January.

I'd love to go see for myself someday, I'm sure Alaska is beautiful.
I see nothing wrong with paying those folks a "right of Way" fee of 140 acres - We are getting something in return. I can not say the same for todays free people of color. Those seeking reperations are most likely the ones already collecting welfare, wanting an addtional a free ride for nothing in return.
If there were any actual slaves alive today, I mean a real, proven, hard-working slave, then, sure, that ticket to Africa would be just fine...
