I have black slave ancestors. My grandmother was a Hargrove. My ancestor Rufus Hargrove was a black slave. I could get reparations. (I WOULD NOT!) I just wonder how many white people there are who can prove black slave ancestors, and thus would be "entitled" to reparations. And I am so white I glow in the dark. I WISH I had some pigment!

That's why this whole discussion about race is so ridiculous. I mean really. Would I have to pay reparations because I have white ancestry, or would black foreigners be eligible for any?

Oh, just relax. We'll get a government commission to determine how white you are and how black you are. Then your white part can reparate your black part.

I think you bring up a very good point. I've heard that a rather sizeable percentage of the so called "white" population has black ancestory. And, we know from the black activists that almost all the black women were sex objects for the white man, so most blacks must have some white blood. If reparations were to come to pass, then the cours would be filled with whites claiming black blood and blacks trying to prove no white blood.
