I have a hard time believing GW would say something like that. He's not that stupid.
It seems like an outright lie, or at the least, a distortion.

And if Bush did indeed say that, wouldn't that be an extremely honest statement? But yet Molly concludes with what a liar he is. So was he lying and he does understand the poor?
