Right on. Now we know what the purpose of the bully-pulpit is in the Bush administration.

It sounds strange, but it is like I have a love/hate relationship with the Bush Administration. I believe in the Administration's cause in the War against Terror; President Bush could not be more right in the decisions he has made since 9/11 with regards to this.

However, the Administration's choices on the domestic front have often been less than desirable for me; this bill is one example. After I heard the rumors regarding the bullying, my regard for the Administration went down a little.

I will still vote for President Bush though; I have a high regard for the people working around him, and have heard many positive stories from many people with regards to the way they work. The bullying rumor came as a surprise to me, which is why I still think of it as a rumor, albiet one that is probably true.
