This thread has been designated an official Prayer Warrior Field Trip destination! And thank you in return. I have had much trepidation about posting because of all the incredibly intelligent people that would rip me to shreds. But this email was so inspirational that I could not resist and I took the plunge.
Cheers to you all.

Does make you wonder if the President has "Commanders coins" to pass out. Can you imagine the pride in getting one of them?I might be misinformed, but The President's Hundred just might. Are they not part of 3rd Regt., same as the Tomb Guards?

Miss Ledeen lives in an active combat zone working for the United States Government, regularly taking fire from the enemy. She deserves their respect. She has mine.Ditto.
Let's adopt her.

Funny thing is DU thinks this is funny because we were somehow 'duped' into thinking she was a soldier.
If anyone is duped, it is the people at DU thinking they have any credible candidates in this race. Poor pathetic losers, meaning both the ones writing the article and the ones who liked the article.

Am shocked to see my letter (written to a small list of friends and family) posted up here! Thanks for all your support!

Let's adopt herI think we already did. And if post #48 is for real,
it seems she's been a lurker here for quite some time.

They recommended me to the Cdr/CSM, and it was given at an informal formation. I was the talk of my unit; the only guy to get it.Congratulations, Sarge! (^:

Does make you wonder if the President has "Commanders coins" to pass out. Can you imagine the pride in getting one of them? I received one from Army Chief of Staff Gen. Gordon Sullivan late in my career...was absolutely dumbfounded by it! So, no, I can't imagine receiving one from the President. But I can certainly imagine how much of a morale boost that would be!

Every prayer counts.Thank you, TEX! Your prayers inspire.
Plenty of prayers on the prayer thread are the invisible kind, I think. Others are joining you in lifting up the troops daily. (^:

THANK YOU!! It's great to see that at least some of the troops KNOW that we are behind them!! I sure hope the ones Hitlery spoke to know where she was coming from and discredited her load of manure just like we do. I could just wring her scrawny little neck for blathering that treasonous poison to our heroic troops! Idiot! (Can you tell what I think of her or should I continue!??? LOL!!)

wonder who ratted me out! Doesn't much matter, does it? Since you replied, you are now known -- and officially one of us!!
Seriously, though. Your story made my chest swell, because it shows how the President's visit was the right thing to do at the right time. And the way you told it was perfect.
Please accept my thanks for what you do...a lot of us at home have nothing but the highest regard for all the young men and women working to bring Iraq into the community of free nations.

Lol! I'd ask the Freeper who was kind enough to share your e-mail with us.
The Admin Mods are very good about editing posts on request, if you'd prefer to remain anonymous. That goes for individual posts, as well. I hit the abuse button on myself at least once a week, it seems. (^:
