Gay divorce is something that is usually not brought up, but is the area where most of the social impact of homosexual marriage will be felt.

Once the committed activists get homosexual marriage, and the homosexuals find that they can lose half of their house and make alimony payments and pay child support and provide healthcare, just like heterosexuals, then (I predict) they will go after "reform" of these outmoded, historically irrelevant, etc, practices.

Once that is complete, Marx will have achieved his goal of ending bourgeois marriage contracts. The left will get a step or two closer to the goal of consequence-less sex, too.
