What a circus it is, eh, pinz?
I just can't get excited about the movies they're rushing to make about this case, and about the Elizabeth Smart case.
In the olden days (assuming Gabby Hayes voice), they usually didn't make movies about contemporaneous events. I liked that better. I mean, I might need someone to tell me the story of Napoleon, and a good movie is just the ticket. But I don't NEED anyone to tell me about THIS sorry scumbag! I see the real thing on TV!

How on earth can they make a movie before the trial even starts?
If he's found guilty, it will be a bummer, and who cares? If he manages to walk, the Geragos character would be the lead, not Scott. Amber may play a huge role, as has been tossed about here the last few days.
In any case, is Dean prepared to sit around waiting to see how this works out, and willing to commit in a movie without seeing how the story, not to mention the script comes together?
I can't imagine getting involved in this tragedy for recreation. This is torment, made bearable only by a group of intelligent, knowledgeable, mostly polite (and might I add very funny) Freepers.
I'd hate to stake my career to the ratings such a movie would get.
