I dunno, Cloe.

Most people treat pregnant women as though they were made of glass. They say Scott was away from home often. If they'd really gotten into a big fight, I think a far more typical reaction by the husband would have been to say "to hell with this!" and drive off in his car.

But, okay, suppose he did stay to fight it out. Once she was seriously hurt, why wouldn't he then have called 911 or driven her to the hospital? A normal person would come to a screeching halt as soon as they realized that it had gotten into serious injury. Plus, one would think that even a husband who hated his wife would still have thought, "Well, it's not the baby's fault... maybe we can at least keep him from harm."

I guess we won't know what really happened until the trial and even then we may never know the exact sequence of events.
My post may have been misleading.I thought you were saying {post 221}that Laci might have died as a result of the fight and I was agreeing that it could have happened that way.
I think Scott wanted Laci and the baby completely out of his life, as soon as possible, and didn't really care how it came about.I don't think he would have called 911 or taken her to a hospital - he had already made up his mind to dispose of them both.
