Right. Any one of us could sound "frantic"....especially if we killed our spouse. But we wouldn't get into that state until we had spent some time determining whether the spouse was really missing, or had just gone out somewhere. Sounds to me as if Scott's "frantic" activity was a bit premature--typical of someone who's trying to convince someone of something.
