Child Killed By IED Near Iskandariyah
ISKANDARIYAH, IRAQ- A 12-year-old Iraqi child was killed yesterday by an explosion when an improved explosive device (IED) emplaced by anti-Coalition forces detonated outside of Iskandariyah.
An explosive ordinance disposal team was dispatched to the area and found the child had been killed from the blast. It was determined that the device detonated when the child began playing with what looked like a pile of garbage. The device was camouflaged with vegetables and a soda can.
The body of the child was taken to the Iskandariyah Police for disposition.
Coalition Forces and Iraqi civilians have been targets of IEDs in an effort by anti-Coalition Forces to prevent establishing a safe and free Iraq.

Late news. CJTF7 link wasn't working yesterday. AP wasn't interested?

Of course not.
It's only an Iraqi and it makes the "resistance" look bad so you won't see anything about this.
Just like you saw nothing of the anti-terrorism demonstration in Baghdad.

I'm sure this casualty will end up on that silly Iraqi bodycount website as one having been caused by the US.
