Re post 7, won't happen. The Russians tend to be 99.44 percent followers, sheeple of the worst kind. Many are masochistic enough to even want the proverbial "Strong Man" in charge, someone to direct their lives. This is what follows 70 years of communism...initiative disappears.

In summary, it's my humble opinion that real democracy in that country is a lost cause.
