Freeper Help: Today's Cover Picture at Lucianne?

I've been staring at it on and off all day long, and I can't for the life of me figure out what it's supposed to be.
It looks like a couple of actors pretending to be German soldiers who froze to death standing upright in the Battle of the Bulge.
Any clues?

I always thought that was the most haunting memorial; it gave me the chills when I looked at the faces of the soldiers.

A family friend was grievously injured by friendly fire in Korea. The conditions there were by far the most dreadful...... Those vets deserve a special honor. Yes, they had to put up with such B.S.
As I said before, the History Channel did a very good show about the Korean war. The title was "Fire and Ice".
I think that said it all.
While Vietnam veterans think (RIGHTLY) that they were short-changed, the Korean War Veterans have been forgotten. And that ain't right. Not at all.

Thanks for the picture. I had no seen it. We have been supporters of the Viet Nam Memorial in NJ but hadn't realized there was Korean War Memorial.
I assure you it is my honor to be seen agreeing with YOU. :)

It is good to see some respect paid to the veterans of the Korean war.

If you all get the chance go to the mall after dark and view this memorial. All these figures are lit from below. It's too cool.

Not really. I was haunted by them. Half of me couldn't help staring; the other half wanted to look away.
Eerie feeling; I can't quite explain it.
To: DLfromthedesert
I understand completely.
Were you in Korea?

No; I was a little kid during that war. My sister and her husband lived there for a while in the nineties when he was stationed there.

I'm still waiting for someone to propose the most dramatic monument in world history. The Legacy of Communism should not be buried by the left. A statue would have a giant person in agony after being shot in the back trying to get through barbed wire that pre-dated the Berlin Wall. And I mean it should be a good 25 feet tall.
