Actually, in my limited experience with this stuff, certain applications do not get along when running simultaneously. You may have had something running prior that contributed to the crash.

Good point. Running java apps from different sites is perilous.

I keep the pager open in IE, and do most of my regular surfing with Safari. MLB.com has java on every page, and I go there a lot, so I do it in a different browser than the one on which I'm running the pager.

Once you get it running for you, it's a real time saver, especially if you're posting on multiple threads.

I'll bet you know the solution to my problem:

Whenever my FR pager goes off, Media Player opens and plays the notify.wav. I assume that I need to change the program association, but to what?
