You're ever so right,I lived in Verdun as a kid and whenever dad was able ,we'd tour all of that battleground in Alsace. I was going to Southern France regularly, and may do so again, and I have to tell you, the monuments and memorial to Les Americains are heartfelt and well taken care of.
Now, Normandy, I have not yet made the pilgramage .. but then, I soon shall. Wanna check into a 6oth anniversary trip?
