Amen.  The Tiny Tent Johnny-One-Issue Republilcans are their own worst enemies.
Typically social conservatives incapable of compromise for religious reasons, their instransigence, if not hostility, to those outside the barricades chokes off the likelihood of forming an overwhelming majority.
