If Ron Paul is the only real conservative in Congress, it appears that there aren't many conservatives in the US. I doubt that Ronald Reagan meets your definition of a conservative either. He ran a deficit and raised taxes on more than one occasion. Nevertheless, he's my idea of a real conservative. He built a real majority for conservative Republicans. I don't like big government or the current spending trends, but I dislike what the Dims would do even more.

Agreed. I'm not happy that I sometimes have to vote Republican to cast a vote AGAINST the Democrats, but I'll take what I can get.
