I think this is premature. A living person should not be on our coinage or stamps. This is a longstanding tradition that I would be loath to break. President Reagan will probably not be with us for too terribly many more years unfortunately. At that time, commemorating his presidency would be more appropriate.

Coinage isn't changed overnight. Changes at the mint take time. It seems better to start now, while fury over the anti-Reagan miniseries is still around. Meanwhile, I'll continue being furious about the New Deal with the Raw Deal. Do you think you'll get to collect social security?
