Terror suspects originally arrested by armed police have been rearrested on lesser charges, Scotland Yard have said.
Four men and two women were taken into custody after Anti-Terrorist Branch officers swooped on homes and businesses in Cambridge and east London.
All were originally arrested under section 41 of the Terrorism Act, on suspicion of involvement in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism.
Scotland Yard said five had been released - de-arrested - under the terror laws but rearrested on other matters.
A 27-year-old man and a 31-year-old man were rearrested on suspicion of bank fraud and immigration offences and both remain in custody.
The two women, aged 18 and 20, were rearrested over immigration offences and bailed until February.
A 34-year-old man arrested later on the same day as the five, but in east London, was rearrested over immigration offences and remains in custody.
The other man, Ahmed Boutouche, 27, is in custody on passport and other document forgery charges.
Hmmm... why would they go and harrass a nice catholic boy like that?
