Bali Bomber Threatens Bush

In a bizarre courtroom outburst, an Indonesian sentenced to death for masterminding last year's Bali nightclub bombings boasted that an army of holy warriors would soon destroy George W. Bush.

Imam Samudra claimed to have sent "5,000 troops from the sky" to India, Iraq and Turkey to fight against the U.S. president.

"God willing, Allah's army will win," he yelled before being bustled from the court by police on Thursday. It was unclear what he meant by his reference to the sky.

Samudra had been summoned as a witness Thursday in the trial of Heri Hafidin, a minor suspect in the Oct. 12 bombings that killed 202 people, mostly foreign tourists. He refused to testify, but he hugged Hafidin before taking the stand and describing himself to the court as a "holy warrior."

The 32-year-old computer expert was sentenced to death in September for planning and executing the attacks. He is currently appealing the sentence to the Supreme Court.

"God willing, Bush will soon be destroyed," he shouted at reporters.

Samudra has never shown any remorse for his role in the bloodiest terror attack since the Sept. 11, 2001, strikes against the United States. He used his appearances in court to shout anti-Western slogans and militant Islamic propaganda.

Hafidin is accused of helping hide Samudra when he was on the run in the weeks after the attack.

Indonesian authorities have arrested 35 people in connection with the Bali bombings. Twenty-nine have been convicted with jail terms ranging from seven years to life. Three have been sentenced to death.

The al-Qaida-linked terror group Jemaah Islamiyah has been blamed for the Bali attack as well as the Aug. 5 bombing of the J.W. Marriott hotel in Jakarta, which killed 12 people.

"God willing, Allah's army will win,"

All these Muslim bums use this same phrase, "god willing".

Their defeats should alert them to the fact that their god is not willing and the other guys' God IS God!!

"5,000 troops from the sky"

Those bastards from the sky we can handle.

It's those sneaky little f_kers that hide in their cowardly little holes that we have a problem with.

Which threat should take priority, this one, or Eminem's recently debated, unpublished, nonspecific lyric?

His god is not the God of the universe. His god may be willing to destroy President Bush, but my God is not.

the Oct. 12 bombings that killed 202 people, mostly foreign tourists.

While most of those who died were tourists, about 2/3 of the injured were Indonesian (200 of the 300 known injured, and 13 fatalities).

Just like the Marriott bombing, were 95 percent of the dead and injured were not only Indonesian, but most likely Muslim.

These guys are gonna' wipe out all their fellows long before they obtain a new caliphate.

agreed, I am sure that security has tightened around the president, but that does not excuse eminem from the vailed threat in the song. IF after the secret service has investigated and their is nothing to it, then drive on.
