He actually did well ,then came home and joined vets against the war and trashed the war. His attitude after the war is what sticks in my head.

I know this isn't the proper medical terminology, but it's almost like he had a mental breakdown after his Vietnam experience. I guess he wouldn't be the first, but if that's the case, he's certainly not what I'd want serving as Commander in Chief.

You are too kind.He had his medal for his resume.I think he did it because anti war was the rage at the time ,it was safe to be anti war at the time,certainly in the area where he wanted to stake a political career.I don't doubt his service,just his motives.
