With a Dem victory, scrutiny will be lowered (Dems have already bought them off with this promise) and then they can move about more freely and can execute any plans in the pipeline.

To act against us now results in a total ass kicking by Bush, and the wrath of the Am people. This is why there has not even been a single gunshot in the US since 911. Crushing them in Afgan is the best thing we could have done.

So the terrorists actually know that a 9/11-magnitude attack would hurt Demonrat election prospects? I think it would, but might'n they think that a big attack would prove "Bush's War on Terror" is failing, and homeland security is ineffective, thus helping the rats?
