Fast Fact #45 says:
45. "Individuals from 1% to 3% of the population that are sexually attracted to the same sex are committing up to one-third of the sex crimes against children." (Timothy J. Dailey, Homosexuality and Child Sexual Abuse, http://www.frc.org/get/is02e3.cfm) 5. I don't understand this statement; isn't it just saying that Homosexuals commit about 1/3 of the sex crimes against kids? Who is responsible for the other 2/3? (IOW, I don't get the point of this statistic.)

The stats demonstrate that 2.1% of the population commit about 33% of the sex crimes against children. It's a proportion issue - a small percentage of the population is committing a much larger percentage of the sex crimes against children.
In other words, since homosexuals are 2.1% of the population, if all things were equal (if I may) between homosexuals and heterosexuals, the stats should demonstrate homsexuals commit closer to 2.1% of the sex crimes against children. But they don't - the stats demonstrate homosexuals commit a much larger proportion of the sex crimes against children.
